Leaked Oppo Reno 12 Series Reveals MediaTek Processors with Amazing Features
Just one month after the global release of the Reno 11 lineup, there have been new leaks regarding Oppo’s upcoming Reno 12 series, which has aficionados excited. The major specifications of the upcoming Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro models have been revealed by a rumored internal document that has surfaced.
Based on leaked information, the Reno 12 is expected to come with a MediaTek processor (tentatively called MTK 24M), a large 12GB RAM, and storage options that can go up to 256GB. On the other hand, a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 (MTK DX-2) chipset, 12GB of RAM, and storage choices spanning from 256GB to 512GB are anticipated for the Reno 12 Pro.
It is rumored that both smartphones will have large 6.7-inch FHD OLED screens with beautifully curved edges and a buttery-smooth refresh rate of 120Hz.
Camera enthusiasts should expect a powerful configuration, as the Reno 12 series is rumored to have a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), in addition to an 8MP and an additional 50MP lens with a 2x optical zoom. There might be differences between the 50MP autofocus selfie shooter on the vanilla and Pro models, but autofocus functionality should be supported.
The leaks indicate a large 5000mAh battery with fast 67W charging capabilities and an IP65 grade for increased durability, which would further improve user experience.
While pricing information is still unknown, the Reno 12 lineup is expected to ship in June 2024. Fans, however, are anxiously anticipating further information on Oppo’s exciting new Smartphone.
