Samsung has begun the rollout of the first official security update for its Galaxy A15 5G (SM-A156E), launching in December 2023. Featuring build number A156EDXU1AXB8, this software update adds February 2024 security patches along with performance improvements are made.

The firmware, which is about 252.98MB in size, is currently distributed mainly in India.  While the update is not yet available in Samsung’s firmware database, users can manually check for availability by navigating to Settings and Software Update to start the download and install process, Currently available in limited quantities in India ,Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to other regions soon.
